Embed 5 Fast is Cohere's latency- and throughput-optimized multimodal embedding model for interactive search, agent loops, and high-volume retrieval. It embeds text, images, and mixed text-and-image inputs, supports more than 100 languages, has a 128K-token context window, and produces Matryoshka embeddings with 256, 512, 768, 1024, 1536, or 2048 dimensions. Fast and Pro share an embedding space. Cohere lists API pricing of $0.08 per million text tokens and $0.40 per million image tokens.
