GPT-6 Rosalind is OpenAI's GPT-6-generation specialized life-sciences model, released on October 30, 2026. OpenAI's API changelog describes it as bringing specialized biological reasoning with scientific tool use to complex life sciences research. Access is limited to organizations approved for Rosalind Research through OpenAI's trusted-access program, for internal research by authorized users; in ChatGPT it rolls out as GPT-6 Rosalind Research to approved Business customers in Work and Codex, with GPT-5.5 Rosalind Research remaining available for existing workflows.
